Tree Preservation Orders (TPOs)

TPOs are a form of statutory tree protection made by the LPA in the interests of public amenity. They can affect individual trees, groups or areas of trees, and woodlands.

TPOs can be on trees on private land, domestic settings and public places and our services are designed to assist and advice you on how best to proceed.

We offer the following services in relation to TPOs:

  • Liaising with the LPA as your agent by submitting and managing applications
  • Advising on what works are likely to be acceptable based on industry standards
  • Appealing TPO decisions made by the LPA
  • Objecting to the making of new TPOs if there are sufficient grounds
